Well, now that we have wrapped up shooting and are starting the hunt for sponsors of this project, I wanted to share the starring cast of the calendar – the kids who make it all worth it, and all possible! Each of these children has touched the lives of their families and friends in ways they will never understand, but that we will be eternally grateful for! So, I just wanted to take a moment and give a HUGE thank you to all of the parents and kids who made this calendar possible!

August 1, 2010{Model Session #12… We’re DONE!!!!!!}
July 14, 2010Well, that’s it! We have officially wrapped up shooting for the calendar! What a better way to spend my last session than with a super fun mom and her super cute mom and boys! We got some great shots…. and then while mom and I were chit-chatting… not exactly paying attention to our super curious model “K”… we turned around to find…
HA! Mom and I stood there for a moment with our mouths agape… then laughed! And, well, I guess that’s a WRAP!!!!!! :-) Luckily we got some super cute shots just moments before Mr. K “cooled off” in the fountain! LOL Thank you SO much for a super fun, super quick session “O” family!!!!

July 11, 2010We are ALMOST DONE!!!! Only one more session to go!
Well, Miss “M” was so great for our session this afternoon – it was SO hot and sticky with some storms moving in, so we met a little early and got the session done before the rain! She had some super funny lines for me, which resulted in some beautiful smiles! =) Thank you so much to the F family for taking part in the calendar!!

July 10, 2010Wow – I can’t believe we are closing in on the final stretch! The weather finally cooled off enough to push through the last of some of these sessions! Mr. M is going to be SUCH a great addition to the calendar – he had some majorly awesome dance moves he showed off for me, and we managed to sneak in some pictures as well as some chit-chat with mom! Great afternoon, I’d say!!! Thanks, H family!

(I couldn’t resist this last one – the background colors are just so pretty!)

June 7, 2010Only FOUR more sessions to go!! I am SO excited to see the calendar coming together!
This session with “W” and his little bro “H” was SO easy! I think the entire session took about 5-10 minutes… for both boys! I wish my own kids were that easy to photograph!! Thank you so much to mom for bring the boys out to grandma and grandpa’s very awesome backyard for some pictures to support the calendar and MO-FEAT!!

June 5, 2010Well, we have turned a corner! Over half of the Project Hope sessions are COMPLETE! I could not be more excited!!
This little lady is “K” – she was a ball of laughter and cracked me UP! It has been a very long time since I’ve met a child as happy as “K”! She ran and had a ball at the park and hopefully we wore her out a bit so mom can have some downtime later tonight! I also snuck in a picture of her very cute older brother! Cutest kids EVER!

June 5, 2010We are officially half way! YAY!!!
J & J made up session #6… and were absolute troopers in the 97 degree heat! We had so much fun as we had some extra help from my friend Meghan Stewart as well as these little guy’s aunt who also brought her Canon! We got to take pictures AND talk shop… what could be better?! We got some great shots and I am looking forward to #7 and #8 this weekend!

May 22, 2010We are almost half way there and I could not be more excited! This is the lovely Miss “D”! Despite the fact that she traveled all the way from Columbia, Missouri and had a jam packed day at the Magic House and the mall, she was SUCH a trooper during the shoot! We found the perfect field of flowers and got some great shots!! Again – how will I ever decide!!! HUGE thank you to mom and dad for bringing the whole family out to St. Louis for this great cause!
{Model Shoot #4}
May 21, 2010So I have officially decided that I am never going to be able to decide which pictures to put in the calendar! :-) I just wish everyone had the opportunity to work with such amazing kids! These are my new friends “V” and “I”! It was so amazing to watch “I” interact with her sister – what lucky girls they are to have each other… and of course my camera loved them, too!
